From the first configuration to the first weekend on the water in eleven weeks: how a family boat with a T-Top, Hypalon tubes and its own trailer travelled from the shipyard to the south of France.

The owner configured the SP 650D online and sent the summary through the contact form. In a short video call we went through the layout, the colours and the trailer, and the binding quotation followed the same day, with delivery and import VAT for France clearly shown.
The quotation was signed online in the client portfolio. After the purchase agreement, the 60% deposit was paid by bank transfer and the boat was booked into a production slot at the shipyard.
The hull was laminated in white gelcoat, the Hypalon tubes were cut, bonded and pressure tested chamber by chamber, and the console, T-Top and sun deck were fitted. At every stage the owner received photos, so the build could be followed from home.

Our supervisor went through the full checklist: seams, valves, hull finish, steering, electrics and a water test of the engine set up. The inspection report and photos went to the owner, and the 40% balance was paid before shipping preparation.
The boat was secured on its trailer, packed in a wooden crate and loaded into a container. The owner followed the crossing with the live tracking link until the vessel arrived at the port of Fos-sur-Mer near Marseille.
Our import partner cleared the boat through French customs, where the owner paid the 20% import VAT once and directly. We completed the registration, and the owner collected the SP 650D on its trailer, ready for the first trip the same weekend.
