Who is responsible

What we collect and why

  • Enquiry data, name, e-mail, phone, country, address and the content of your message, when you submit our contact or quotation forms. Used solely to answer your enquiry and prepare quotations. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) UK GDPR / GDPR).
  • Order data, contract, configuration, invoicing, delivery and registration details, when you buy a boat. Used to perform the contract and meet legal (tax, customs) obligations. Retained as long as commercial and tax law requires.
  • Site preferences, your chosen country, currency, language and cookie choice, stored locally in your browser (localStorage). This data stays on your device; see the Cookie Policy.
  • Communication, if you contact us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy also apply to that conversation.

Who receives your data

Only the service providers needed to serve you: our form delivery provider (which transmits form submissions to our mailbox), our hosting provider, the manufacturer (order specifications only, never more than needed to build your boat), and freight, customs and registration partners handling your delivery. We never sell personal data, and we treat all personal and commercial information in strict confidence.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to processing, at any time via info@aquaforth.com. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO); in the EU, your national data protection authority.

Security & retention

Data is transmitted encrypted (HTTPS) and access is limited to the people who handle your enquiry or order. Enquiry data that does not lead to an order is deleted after 24 months; order data is kept for the statutory commercial and tax retention periods.
