Aquaforth Nautical Trade & Solutions Corporation Ltd is a UK company below the VAT registration threshold and therefore makes a non-VAT-registered supply (UK VAT Act 1994, Schedule 1). VAT is consequently not charged on our invoices, and all prices on this website and in our quotations are expressed exclusive of VAT.
Value added tax applicable in your country is charged to you directly by the customs authority of the country of destination via our import partner upon importation (Article 201 of the EU VAT Directive 2006/112/EC). This mechanism exists to avoid double taxation: you pay VAT exactly once, at your national rate, to your own authorities.
Indicative standard rates are shown on our delivery map, hover your country. Your quotation states the applicable rate and estimated amount so there are no surprises at clearance.
The configured boat, maritime packaging, container freight, export costs, import management, delivery to the agreed seaport and the registration (immatriculation) of your boat. Currency conversions displayed on this site are indicative; the contract and all invoices are issued in EUR, see Payments.
