Inspection must be carried out at the moment of receipt or pickup. Check the crate, boat, container and documents and record any visible damage or shortage on the carrier's or delivery provider's documents before signing a clean receipt. Once the boat has been received or collected and a clean receipt signed, no claim for visible damage or shortage can be accepted (see clause 30 of the Terms and Making a Claim). Take dated photos and notify us the same day; we assist you with the carrier and insurer where liability is theirs.
Neither party is liable for delay or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, natural disasters, conflicts, strikes, shortages, logistics disruptions, governmental restrictions, manufacturer delays or customs blockages. Obligations are suspended for the duration of the event; see clause 13 of the General Terms.
